Dr. Rouleau is affiliated with the RAMQ and can only take private surgery cases in Québec within the framework of corporate medicine or for patients residing in another Canadian province. With this type of care, the patient’s employer or company pays the medical costs. The first consultation between the patient and Dr. Rouleau can be completed through telemedicine or in person.
Upper limb problems can almost always be treated with same day surgery and can be performed very safely in private practice. Among others, workers often experience the following pathologies, that are well suited to treatment in a private clinic: rotator cuff tears, shoulder osteoarthritis, shoulder instability, shoulder capsulitis, shoulder notching, shoulder blade dyskinesia, elbow epicondylitis, ulnar nerve compression, elbow osteoarthritis and loose bodies, elbow instability, median nerve compression, carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger.
A consultation for complex cases is also possible within the context of corporate medicine to try and discover the reason behind chronic upper limb pain.
